The World of BMW

2018 BMW Cars

BMW continues to be a global luxury titan. To stay a dominant player in that market, the company has introduced an ever-increasing lineup of coupes, performance cars, hybrids, crossovers, and luxury sedans like the range-topping 7 Series.

Least Expensive: The BMW X1 and 2 Series start at nearly the same price at just over $30,000, giving buyers a choice of a compact coupe or crossover as an entry point into the brand.

Sportiest: With a deep motorsports tradition, BMW’s M division has crafted not one or two, but seven performance offerings including the M2, M3, M4 (check out the GTS model here), M5, M6, X5 M, and X6 M. Plus, there’s also the futuristic-looking i8.

Popular: The automaker’s 3 Series has a relatively low introductory price in the low $30,000 range, a commodious cabin, and a host of engine and drive options.

Most Expensive: The company’s i8 hybrid sports car has the looks of a carefully sculpted supercar, but without the harmful-to-the-environment engine choices you’d expect on such a car. The i8 and the Alpina B7 variant of the 7 Series each start around $140,000.
